They should have experience selling identity access management solutions, specifically PAM (privileged access management), and an accomplished track record of selling software.

Responsibilities

The Inside Sales Representative, SLED will drive new business and sales growth within the public sector, covering state, local, and higher education agencies, focusing on complex sales cycles. They will create and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence, drive pipeline generation and revenue growth, and build and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers. Responsibilities also include understanding public sector procurement cycles, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, acting as a subject matter expert, conducting sales presentations and negotiations, and participating in cold call/role play activities. Additionally, the role requires balancing scheduling meetings, working collaboratively with legal and sales ops teams, and staying informed about industry trends and competitor activities, with the ability to travel for customer meetings and operate a vehicle.
