This position seeks an experienced, highly motivated sales professional to manage a sales region. The Sales Executive will be responsible for selling our marketing-leading Identity Management solutions to both end users and channel partners, leveraging all routes to market. The role requires a deep understanding of client businesses and the industry, identifying needs, developing compelling proposals, and ultimately closing business. The Sales Executive will also cultivate trusted relationships with key decision-makers and partners.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales and a strong understanding of Identity Management solutions are expected.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue Generation: Exceed revenue quota goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Customer Needs Assessment: Demonstrate the ability to address each customer’s and partner’s unique inquiry, providing appropriate solutions based on their specific needs and interests.
  • Business Planning: Develop business plans aligned with geographic and business needs.
  • Partner Engagement: Engage and work with business partners where appropriate.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with Marketing to develop and execute marketing plans through/with end users and partners.
  • Lead Management: Follow-up on all leads and update internal systems.
  • Technical Support: Marshal and lead the appropriate technical resources to demonstrate SailPoints’ advantages to the customer.
  • Post-Sale Support: Follow-up with clients and work with Sailpoint account managers to ensure consistent and ongoing coverage of accounts, including new sales opportunities.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Understand and work through all aspects of the sales cycle, including qualifying, presentations, demonstrations, RFP responses, negotiations, and closing.
  • Territory Knowledge: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the territory, including customers, prospects, partners, influencers, and competitors.
  • Competitive Analysis: Understand and communicate all product and technological strategies employed by competitive and complimentary organizations in the SailPoint market space.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain the highest level of customer and partner satisfaction within assigned accounts.
  • Company Values: Maintain a positive, professional ‘total customer service’ attitude and demonstrate the company’s Core Values.
  • Coordination & Scheduling: Coordinate, plan, and schedule sales support activities.
