Candidates should possess a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Technical Data Practitioner in customer-facing roles, with a strong data background. Prior experience in a customer-facing role is required.
The Sales Engineer will build strong relationships with stakeholders within organizations, including CDOs and Data Platform leaders, as well as data engineers and analysts, to understand their challenges and goals. They will act as a trusted advisor to data teams on their journey to building a modern data platform, evangelizing Atlan and promoting an agile data culture. The role involves creating customized demo flows, running trials and POCs, providing office hours, and gathering customer feedback to inform product development, ultimately ensuring customers have the information needed to make informed decisions about adopting Atlan.
