Requirements

Candidates must have 7 or more years of experience as a PreSales/Sales Engineer or a similar customer-facing technical role. A strong understanding of IT storage software, computing architectures, networks, operating systems, applications, virtualization, cloud technologies, and the IT security industry is required. Specific knowledge of SaaS and IaaS technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Workspace, AWS), databases (SQL, Oracle, MySQL), Microsoft applications (Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint), and industrial automation environments is also necessary. Excellent presentation, public speaking, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage time and resources effectively.

Responsibilities

The Sales Engineer will work with the sales team to execute pre and post-sales activities for cloud and on-premise business in the Middle East region. Responsibilities include delivering presentations, facilitating customer evaluations and proof-of-concept activities, positioning compelling solutions, producing written proposals and technical responses to RFIs/RFPs, conducting demonstrations and knowledge transfer, supporting partners with technical queries, developing customer solution proposals, and providing customer and market input to internal teams. The role requires maintaining knowledge of major industry developments and handling customer inquiries on these matters.
