The Role

Are you a self-motivated drone expert and established sales professional eager to sell innovative technology while contributing to crime reduction? If you excel in a competitive, fast-paced, and mission-driven environment, this is a game-changing opportunity for you. Flock is expanding its aviation team and seeking a DFR Specialist. This role is crucial for company growth, focusing on a key market, owning demonstrations, collaborating with the Go-To-Market (GTM) team, and supporting deal closures. The position requires approximately 60% travel during peak seasons.

This is an individual contributor role reporting directly to our Director of Solution Specialists. As a quota-carrying position, you will have the opportunity to earn commission on a quarterly basis, tied to your individual DFR quota.

This is a 100% remote field sales opportunity.

How You'll Make an Impact:

Sales & Forecasting:

• Collaborate closely with existing sales teams to manage opportunities from inception to closure, guiding customers through their product decisions.
• Maintain a keen awareness of the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate records of sales activities and providing regular forecasts to management.

New Business Development:

• Identify and pursue new DFR opportunities with prospective clients, understanding their unique requirements and proposing suitable technology solutions.

Conduct Virtual and In-Person DFR Demonstrations:

• Support the existing sales team by serving as a DFR Subject Matter Expert (SME), adding significant value to their sales processes.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration to negotiate terms and ensure successful product deployments.

Market Research and Analysis:

• Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to provide insights that inform sales strategies and product development.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with other teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment in messaging, product offerings, and overall customer satisfaction.

Continuous Learning and Skill Development:

• Continuously enhance knowledge and skills by staying updated on advancements in technology and sales techniques to maintain a competitive edge.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of Flock’s entire product suite, recognizing how all products function cohesively within the ecosystem and supporting the company's mission to empower customers.
