Requirements

Candidates should have at least 1-2 years of outbound sales experience, with tech experience being a plus. They must be located in the Greater Salt Lake City Area and possess dynamic phone presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills are also required, along with demonstrated ability to research, initiate, and cultivate business relationships.

Responsibilities

As a Sales Development Representative, the individual will collaborate with sales teams to understand target account segments and cybersecurity service and technology areas of focus, research target demographics and clients’ needs, actively engage in lead generation efforts through cold calling and other methods, analyze market reports to identify business opportunities, communicate Optiv’s value proposition, conduct research on prospects, prioritize lead follow-up, interact with Salesforce.com to update lead records, qualify leads, move them through the sales pipeline, and perform other duties as assigned.
