The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar Account Management/Business Development role and ideally have a knowledge of the meat industry, with the ability to perform market research and competitor analysis. Candidates should be confident, people-oriented, and able to build relationships internally and externally. Passion, enthusiasm, and tenacity to win new business are essential.
This role will drive and deliver volume, sales, and margin growth for the Meat & Poultry category by working closely with sales teams to maximize opportunities with new and existing customers. Responsibilities include presenting and demonstrating the product range, promoting the company's proposition, assisting with product knowledge and sales support, completing administrative tasks, maintaining a sales pipeline in Salesforce, analyzing customer requirements, and staying aware of competitor and market trends.
