Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience in foodservice/QSR, with private label experience being a strong asset. A proven ability to grow existing accounts and secure new business is essential. Deep understanding of private label program development and national foodservice distribution networks is required. Strong negotiation, presentation, and executive relationship-building skills are necessary. An entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for results and innovation is desired. The role requires a willingness and ability to travel nationally up to 65%. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, customer business planning expertise, high-level presentation and facilitation skills, effective cross-functional leadership and collaboration, the ability to influence across all levels of the organization, strategic thinking with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, high organization with excellent time management, adaptability, resilience, a growth mindset, skilled in change management, challenging the status quo, and conflict resolution and negotiation capabilities are also important.
The National Foodservice Business Manager will lead growth in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) channel, spearheading the commercialization and expansion of private label salty snacks, cookies, and crackers. This role involves managing key national accounts and forging new partnerships with top QSR chains. Responsibilities include owning and growing existing national QSR accounts by focusing on category expansion, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth. The manager will drive new business development by delivering innovative, customized private label solutions to national and regional QSR chains. They will build and maintain a strong pipeline using market insights, competitive intelligence, and industry relationships. Collaboration with R&D, operations, marketing, and supply chain to meet customer specs and profitability goals is crucial. Accurate forecasting for revenue, volume, and sales performance is required. The role demands balancing tactical execution with strategic vision to position the portfolio as the preferred private label partner in the QSR space. Navigating the Stage Gate process to vet new ideas and assess alignment with current capabilities and product offerings is also part of the job.
