Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a Healthcare IT support setting, along with 3-5 years of call center experience related to clinician support, experience using EHR/practice management tools such as AthenaOne, and knowledge of Healthcare and medical terminology. Familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, or other service desk ticketing applications is also required, as is HIPAA certification.

Responsibilities

The Revenue Cycle Support Specialist will respond to call queue support needs for clinicians regarding scheduling, athenaOne EMR application support, prescriptions, and other healthcare coordination needs, providing essential, advanced application support of the athenaOne EHR and other clinical applications for business departments and end users. They will serve as a cross-functional agent, supporting athenaOne build and maintenance efforts, following service level agreements (SLAs), using established protocols to identify and escalate priority issues, providing tier 1 technical troubleshooting to clinicians, collaborating with IT partners to coordinate new releases and resolution efforts, maintaining support documentation for knowledge base updates, monitoring events (downtime, warnings, and exceptions), and establishing communication protocols with IH clinical stakeholders.
