Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience as an Applications Analyst. Extensive knowledge of application development and implementation methodologies is required, along with experience in understanding and documenting business needs and recommending IT solutions. Ambulatory certification and experience in Home Health and/or Hospice are preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity and HIPAA policies and practices is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Sr. IS Applications Analyst will be responsible for enhancing, supporting, and maintaining applications within the Virtua Health System, demonstrating subject matter expertise in solutions development and implementation. They will also analyze complicated workflow/system requirements to design, configure, test, and implement IT application solutions, create and maintain all documentation, and participate in performance improvement activities. Furthermore, the analyst will provide day-to-day support of multiple IT applications, troubleshoot systems, maintain working knowledge of business processes, and facilitate effective customer engagement through regular meetings.
