Position Overview

  • Location Type: Hybrid (Commute to New York Center - Flatiron District once a week or as needed)
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 (depending on skills and experience)

Parsley Health is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. This role is critical in supporting our remote-first workforce and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. You will provide a vital link between our employees and our technology, handling a wide range of tasks from system audits to service requests. This is a one-person team role with occasional part-time coverage.

Requirements

  • MacOS Administration Experience: Strong proficiency in managing and troubleshooting macOS systems.
  • Remote-First Support Experience: Experience supporting a remote workforce, including familiarity with tools like Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace.
  • Jamf or Similar Device Management: Knowledge and experience with device management tools such as Jamf.
  • Employee Onboarding/Off-boarding: Experience managing employee IT onboarding and off-boarding processes.
  • Procurement and Inventory Control: Experience with purchasing hardware and software and managing inventory.
  • Security & Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare regulations (e.g., SOC, HIPAA) or similar security and compliance frameworks.
  • Startup Experience: Preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain all general IT and company security policies and procedures.
  • Identify, log, and resolve technical problems utilizing the company's ticketing system.
  • Handle hardware and software purchasing.
  • Manage and complete service and support requests.
  • Store, receive, set up, and ship Mac laptops from Parsley’s office (e.g., onboarding and off-boarding).
  • Identify potential changes and system improvements.
  • Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels and in accordance with organizational guidelines.
  • Collaborate on additional projects as needed.
  • Commute to our New York Center (Flatiron district) once a week or as support requests arise to assist with on-premise projects or technical issues.

Parsley Health is committed to providing an equitable, fair, and transparent compensation program for all employees. The starting salary for this role is between $75,000 - $85,000, depending on skills and experience. We take a geo-neutral approach to compensation within the US, meaning that we pay based on job.
