Requirements

Candidates should possess MacOS administration experience, experience supporting a remote-first environment utilizing tools like Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace, and knowledge of Jamf or similar device management tools. Familiarity with healthcare regulations or similar security and compliance frameworks such as SOC or HIPAA is preferred, along with experience in employee onboarding/off-boarding and procurement/inventory control. Startup experience is also desired.

Responsibilities

The IT Support Specialist will implement all general IT and company security policies and procedures, identify, log, and resolve technical problems utilizing a ticketing system, handle hardware and software purchasing, manage and complete service and support requests, store, receive, set up, and ship Mac laptops, identify potential changes and system improvements, ensure work is carried out within agreed service levels, collaborate on additional projects as needed, and commute to the New York Center (Flatiron district) once a week or as support requests arise to assist with on-premise projects or technical issues.
