Clinical Application Specialist (CAS)

Location Type: Remote (Home-based in the Northeast) Employment Type: Full-time


Position Overview

The Clinical Application Specialist (CAS) is a clinical education role focused on providing internal and external clinical and educational support. This role also supports broader company revenue growth goals through customer support and education. The CAS will be responsible for training and educating new and existing Sentec users and will work closely with the field sales and marketing organization to support new hire and ongoing sales training and development.


Key Tasks

  • Act as the subject matter expert for the use of our products in key market segments to support company revenue growth goals.
  • Collaborate with the local sales team to coordinate and deliver comprehensive onsite and virtual customer training and education, including curriculum, process/tools, and programs.
  • Develop a common understanding of the technology across care providers and articulate the clinical & economic value proposition.
  • Participate in product evaluations and installations.
  • Assess needs and ensure comprehensive education and hands-on training on our products, including maintenance and troubleshooting, that addresses all members of the clinical team.
  • Provide education and training necessary to drive optimal bedside use of the technology in new and existing accounts.
  • Conduct on-site and virtual education, training, and CE and non-CE presentations.
  • Perform in-person state and potential national society presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Current RRT license is required.
  • Prior experience training/educating healthcare professionals is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the Medical Device Industry in a Clinical Specialist role is highly preferred.
  • Existing in-depth knowledge and usage of Sentec products is preferred.
  • Ability to quickly understand new product enhancements and training programs/materials.
  • Must be vaccinated for Covid-19 and must obtain any/all required vaccinations as appropriate for vendor credentialing.
  • Ability to travel overnight (60%+) and work flexible hours.
