Strong paralegal skills, including documentation management, legal research, and client communication, are highly desirable. Excellent written communication skills are essential, as is a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. A proven track record of establishing and monitoring KPIs and SOPs within a revenue cycle context, a creative mindset for problem-solving, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to develop strong cross-departmental relationships are also required.
The Revenue Cycle Manager will lead the post-payment appeals and refunds team, focusing on continuous improvement and developing robust policies and procedures for timely and accurate refunds. Responsibilities include establishing and monitoring KPIs, creating SOPs, providing feedback on trends and strategies for resolving payer issues, and identifying root causes of overpayments to reduce future refunds.
