Requirements

Strong paralegal skills, including documentation management, legal research, and client communication, are highly desirable. A proven track record of establishing and monitoring KPIs and SOPs within a revenue cycle context, a creative mindset for problem-solving, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to develop strong cross-departmental relationships are also required.

Responsibilities

The Revenue Cycle Manager will lead the post-payment appeals and refunds team, focusing on continuous improvement and developing robust policies and procedures for timely and accurate refunds. Responsibilities include establishing and monitoring KPIs, creating SOPs, providing feedback on trends and strategies for resolving payer issues, and identifying root causes of overpayments to reduce future refunds. The role also involves overseeing the collection and organization of documentation for payer audits, conducting research to support responses and appeals, serving as the primary contact for audit inquiries, and writing appeal response letters. Collaboration with external auditors, payer representatives, clients, and internal departments to address findings and implement corrective actions is also key.
