Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess 5-8 years of experience in consumption-based (UBB) billing, with 2-3 years of team leadership, including offshore or Shared Services experience, preferably in a high-volume SaaS or technology environment. Required skills include hands-on experience managing high-volume billing operations, creating KPIs and dashboards, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent organizational and communication skills, working knowledge of ASC 606 and SOX-relevant controls, and proficiency with ERP, CRM, and support systems like NetSuite, Salesforce, and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

The Manager of Billing Operations will lead and manage daily billing operations for timely and accurate invoicing, mentor offshore Shared Services teams, and establish KPIs to measure billing performance and efficiency. Key duties include collaborating on billing system enhancements, serving as the primary escalation point for billing issues, overseeing billing schedules and sales order processing, and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve the order-to-cash cycle. The role also involves embedding customer-centric practices, driving continuous improvement projects, delivering data-driven insights, owning the month-end billing close process, and ensuring the implementation of sustainable billing controls for internal audit and SOX compliance.
