Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in healthcare revenue cycle
  • Visionary and execution-focused leadership in product management
  • Technical foundation in standards-based data exchange (FHIR, HL7, X12)
  • Experience leading platform strategy and delivery in Authorizations, Medical Necessity, and Notice of Admission (NOA)
  • Expertise in FHIR interoperability, CMS mandates (e.g., CMS-0057), TEFCA, and HL7 Da Vinci plans
  • Knowledge of rules management platforms, payer-specific rules sourcing, validation, and deployment
  • Experience modernizing legacy infrastructure into scalable, API-driven services
  • Background in business development, strategic partnerships, M&A evaluations, and client engagements
  • Ability to represent product vision in industry forums, conferences, and advisory councils

Responsibilities

  • Lead and evolve the product vision for Authorizations, Medical Necessity, and NOA workflows within the Platforms portfolio
  • Lead roadmap development aligned with CMS-0057, TEFCA, and HL7 Da Vinci plans
  • Increase adoption of FHIR APIs including CRD, DTR, and PAS across payer and provider networks
  • Overhaul legacy rules management platforms to support dynamic, scalable, and modular rule sets
  • Lead efforts to modernize how payer-specific rules are sourced, validated, and deployed across products
  • Partner with engineering and data teams to implement rule ingestion pipelines and real-time rule evaluation frameworks
  • Improve FHIR narrative by integrating standards-based APIs into platform capabilities
  • Guide EMPA (Electronic Medical Prior Authorization) strategy and testing, including 275/278 message support and sandbox environments
  • Lead market expansion and revenue growth in the authorization domain by launching unique platform capabilities, identifying whitespace opportunities, and creating solutions that improve payer-provider connectivity, reduce administrative burden, and accelerate prior authorization turnaround times
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and growth opportunities aligned with platform capabilities
  • Represent the product vision in client engagements, conferences, and advisory councils
  • Align product strategy with operational workflows by partnering with implementation, support, and client success teams to ensure seamless deployment, scalable configuration, and measurable impact across health system and payer environments
  • Work with Engineering, Clearinghouse, Regulatory, and Client Success teams to provide compliant and scalable solutions
  • Develop best practices guides and enablement materials for EMPA and FHIR migrations
  • Report to Experian Health and lead the overhaul of rules management platforms
