Candidates should possess 4+ years of revenue accounting experience under US GAAP and hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Advanced Excel skills are required, with preferred experience in Salesforce, Workday, or other ERP systems, and familiarity with revenue accounting systems like RevPro or RightRev. A CPA or Chartered Accountant qualification is a plus. The role demands problem-solving abilities from both accounting and systems perspectives, the capacity to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines, and the willingness to work shifts overlapping US time zones during critical closing periods. Attention to detail and adaptability to organizational and business process changes are essential.
The Revenue Analyst will perform validation to ensure the completeness and accuracy of data flowing from CPQ and Finance ERP to the revenue accounting system. Responsibilities include executing month-end close activities such as preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and back-end controls for revenue accuracy. The analyst will account for transactions with multiple performance obligations according to ASC 606 and company policy, assist with audits by generating PBCs and answering questions, and develop desktop procedures for revenue accounting tasks. Additionally, the role involves aiding in the design and documentation of SOX controls, assisting with internal control development, testing, and documentation, and supporting systems implementations and other finance projects, including resolving system-related matters with IT.
