  • Minimum 7 - 10 years of hands-on network engineering experience
  • Network engineering experience in a consultative manner supporting full-stack enterprise solutions
  • Data Center Switching, Data Center Routing, Data Center Security, and EVPN/VXLAN experience
  • Hands-on experience supporting Juniper QFX and EX product family platforms
  • Intermediate to Advanced Knowledge of EVPN/VXLAN
  • Juniper Networking Specialist certification required (Professional level preferred)
  • Product Knowledge: QFX, EX
  • Product Familiarity: QFX, EX, Mist
  • Expert level relationship management, communications skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Expert-level troubleshooting methodology to isolate and identify configuration, design, and software anomalies
  • Ability to clearly articulate findings in written and verbal communications with development-level engineering staff
  • Ability to apply knowledge to real-world scenarios
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and work calmly under pressure
  • Self-starter, team player, personable, enthusiastic, hardworking
  • A plus: hands-on configuration and operational knowledge of other vendor products

Responsibilities

  • Provide post-sales on-site support for Juniper’s networking products
  • Develop and maintain expertise on the products deployed within the customer’s network (QFX, EX, Mist)
  • Primarily work remotely, with expected travel to customer sites at least quarterly (more frequent depending on project stage)
  • Manage face-to-face communications daily with multiple levels of customer management and engineering staff across multiple departments
  • Align with customer culture in a strong technical team with deep expertise across multiple layers of technical responsibility
  • Apply expert-level troubleshooting to isolate and identify configuration, design, and software anomalies
  • See a need and insert/suggest Juniper technology or reach out to the sales team
