Requirements

Candidates must possess excellent English writing skills and fluency in English and at least one of the following languages: Chinese, Portuguese, French, German, Hebrew, Dutch, Nordic languages, Russian, or Arabic. A knowledge of and interest in international affairs and politics, along with strong research skills including online search tools, is required. Previous experience in Due Diligence or specialist legal, business, or financial knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Research Editor will create high-quality reports on companies and/or individuals using public sources and proprietary databases, ensuring accuracy and timeliness according to Dow Jones quality standards. Responsibilities include summarizing complex information from other languages into English, compiling and summarizing information from multiple sources clearly and concisely, and performing testing of new or enhanced system and product functionality. The role also involves contributing to the creation, maintenance, and testing of guidelines, data, and tools, supporting the training of new staff, contributing to team and product-initiated projects, and assisting with translation services when required.
