The Opportunity

This Pharmacy Sales Representative position is located in for the Established Pharmaceuticals Division, where we are committed to bringing the benefits of our trusted medicines to more people in the world's fastest-growing countries. Our broad portfolio of differentiated, high-quality branded generic medicines spans multiple therapeutic areas, including gastroenterology, women's health, cardio-metabolic, pain management/central nervous system, and respiratory.

As a Pharmacy Sales Representative, you will generate demand through prescription acquisition and ensure the product is available at the pharmacy for dispensing, offering the best customer service to achieve your annual sales target by assigned brand in your therapeutic area portfolio.

Position Objective

Ensure adequate existence by placing and negotiating ABBOTT products in pharmacies within your territory, as well as preventing prescription switching through personalized service based on training pharmacy staff, aiming to maintain competitive market prices to achieve the region's sales quota in units and values, maintaining sustained growth in market share. Ensure the correct implementation of the new commercial model, guaranteeing competitive prices and patient discounts.

What You Will Do

  • Achieve visit coverage for pharmacies (AAA, AA, A) and distributors or wholesalers on your assigned route.
  • Maintain an excellent commercial relationship with both the main retailers assigned to you and their 150 pharmacies.
  • Maintain adequate stock according to demand, avoiding stockouts or overstocking at the points of sale assigned to you.
  • Conduct promotion and training for counter employees on assigned brands according to the promotional schedule.
  • Conduct daily negotiations with clients and distributors.
  • Work together with medical detail representatives on strategies to achieve the company's expected results through projects in pharmacies such as Trade Marketing and the development of new distribution channels for our brands.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economic-Administrative, Chemical-Biological, or Humanities areas.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Sales (Pharmacies, Wholesale, OTC, High Consumption).

Job Knowledge

  • Knowledge of sales and negotiation techniques.
  • Knowledge of Internal Sales, ATV, MFPM audits.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook) and other relevant software/systems.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Availability to travel to surrounding areas.
