Candidates must live within the Mid-Atlantic territory, which includes Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Ohio (or portions thereof), and reside close to a major metro airport. The role requires up to 50% travel.
Lead and coach a team of Specialty Territory Sales Representatives, manage sales and business activities for the Mid-Atlantic region, and translate strategic plans into sales strategies to achieve sales volume, product mix, and profit objectives. Define and drive sales growth strategies, support the team with prospective customers, deliver effective sales presentations, provide product information and demonstrations, and quote prices to ensure customer satisfaction. Interact effectively with C-suite executives and decision-makers, build key relationships, and drive the implementation of team strategies to achieve regional objectives. Prepare annual regional forecasts, determine market potential, and contribute to sales expense estimates. Plan and manage regional sales and development efforts, including contract compliance, staffing, training, performance management, coaching, and administrative requirements. Identify and build optimal field-facing capabilities, raise awareness of unmet needs, and champion new customer-centric solutions internally. Maintain a high degree of presence and visibility in the field with sales personnel and key customers, and confer with leadership and marketing teams on marketing policy, product revisions, and pricing.
