Requirements

  • Successfully completed technical degree, e.g., in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent
  • Experience in quality assurance, quality planning, quality management and/or Six Sigma
  • Basic knowledge of statistics and data analysis
  • Ideally experience with database systems (e.g., SQL)
  • Very good German and English skills (technical English) in spoken and written form
  • Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Creativity, curiosity, and a knack for clever technical solutions
  • Pronounced team skills and high flexibility (e.g., user research, on-site support in various development phases)
  • High performance orientation and love for detail, even when managing multiple projects
  • Independent, effective way of working and ability to maintain good relationships with internal and external teams/customers worldwide
  • Motivation to make established processes more efficient and openness to new approaches

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for product quality: Define and track binding CTQ metrics to ensure successful product introduction according to warranty and product lifecycle specifications
  • Customer focus: Represent the voice of the customer in all quality-relevant product development activities – from responding to market complaints, market observation, to relaying requirements to development teams and creating appropriate test sequences (with growing focus on electrical systems)
  • Project management: Manage project and milestone documentation such as test plans, status reports, FRACAS, and moderate FMEAs
  • Innovative test environments: Support test and project teams in building new test environments for later product qualification
  • Data analysis & optimization: Evaluate product tests and repair data using statistical methods (Six Sigma, Weibull, DoE etc.) and identify targeted optimization potentials
  • Device analyses & troubleshooting: Plan and conduct device analyses, support root cause analysis, and define corrective actions
  • Safety reviews: Lead safety reviews as part of the milestone process
  • Quality assurance in series production: Develop test plans together with resident and productivity teams to continuously secure product quality in series manufacturing
