Requirements

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or a combination of education and experience demonstrating required skills. Military service or training may be considered in lieu of a degree. A minimum of 4 years of related experience in a laboratory setting is preferred, along with prior customer service experience. GxP experience and IATA/DOT certification, along with knowledge of OSHA General Industry requirements, are considered a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills, computer proficiency with intermediate Microsoft Office skills, organizational abilities for multi-tasking, and the capacity to understand and work safely in complex environments are essential. The role also requires the ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance and adhere to GMP safety standards, including specific requirements for cleanroom environments, cold rooms, and the use of PPE.

Responsibilities

The Regional Site Specialist will provide support at multiple customer facilities, managing inventory, POU systems, and dispensing products. Responsibilities include order entry, expediting, and customer service support, as well as chemical container management, including receiving and registration. The role also involves end-to-end glass wash sterilization processes, dock and shipping management, and driving process improvement initiatives. This position requires extensive travel within the Bay Area (70-80% of the time) to cover scheduled and unscheduled gaps in customer site coverage.
