Requirements

  • Degree in Technical/Mechanical or Business Management preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience managing Dealer accounts within the capital equipment market business, including building Dealer networks and securing new customers while driving volume and margin
  • Technical Sales management experience with a track record of selling value rather than cost
  • In-depth technical, sales, and applications knowledge of material handling products ideal
  • Professional level practical knowledge of new business development, product marketing, and sales principles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Financial acumen, understanding distribution business dynamics and supporting dealers in financial decisions
  • Ability to function in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivating in achieving goals
  • Ability to influence and persuade at all levels
  • Creativity and innovative thinking

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales in the region by developing strong relationships and accountability with current dealers, identifying new potential dealers, and building a high-performing dealer network
  • Establish dealer sales targets and provide sales forecasts in line with budgets
  • Develop annual business plans with dealers, provide feedback on progress, and work to improve sales performance
  • Develop an effective distribution and territory management plan, identifying growth opportunities and establishing Terex Environmental products as dominant
  • Regularly review performance and manage team to create growth
  • Provide dealers and customers with thorough technical and application knowledge to secure end-customer sales and develop high-quality dealer sales
  • Provide regional and product insights to support new product development and launches
  • Develop, implement, and manage sales and marketing initiatives for the region
  • Maintain and report on competitive activities, products, and innovations
  • Frequently visit key end users to facilitate sales and arrange direct sales where needed
  • Regularly assist and perform machine demonstrations/setups with distributors
  • Establish a dealer network for Ecotec and CBI
  • Other duties as assigned
