Requirements

  • Proven experience balancing individual contribution with team leadership responsibilities
  • Preferably experience and detailed knowledge in municipal water, flow instrumentation, and/or water quality instrumentation and associated solutions
  • Strong track record of success in achieving and exceeding sales targets in regional or international markets
  • Demonstrated ability to engage, motivate, and train customers, distributors, and sales teams
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and negotiation skills. Arabic language is desired
  • Progressive, driven, and strategic thinker with strong networking ability
  • Self-motivated, tenacious professional with a “can-do” mindset and strong accountability
  • Solid project management skills and ability to manage complex sales cycles
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Ability to travel up to 50% across assigned markets
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Competencies in Delegation and Empowerment: Identifying and leveraging opportunities to accelerate results and build capability by assigning tasks and decision-making responsibilities to individuals

Responsibilities

  • Build and expand relationships with existing and new customers by understanding their businesses and proactively delivering tailored solutions
  • Act as both a supervisor and an individual contributor, balancing leadership with hands-on customer engagement and business development
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue and market share targets
  • Drive Badger Meter’s sales efforts in defined target markets, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and long-term strategy
  • Assess, develop, and manage key accounts and channel partners to maximize growth opportunities
  • Strengthen brand awareness by improving engagement with end users and channel partners in collaboration with corporate marketing
  • Identify new business opportunities and emerging market trends in the water and wastewater domain, capturing growth through consultative selling and solution-oriented approaches
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, after-sales support, and technical teams to optimize customer experience and solution delivery
  • Conduct commercial and technical negotiations, supporting clients on quality management, project delivery, and payment terms
  • Analyze sales performance using CRM, MicroStrategy, and ERP systems to track progress, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement
  • Represent the company in trade fairs, industry events, and customer forums to strengthen visibility and thought leadership
  • Handle customer escalations and complaints with the support team, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction
