Candidates should have 3-5 years of first-line sales leadership experience in high-growth SaaS or modern data ecosystem companies. Proven success in scale-up environments, expertise in talent recruitment and development, pipeline management with multi-quarter visibility, and accurate forecasting are essential. Familiarity with repeatable sales methodologies like MEDDPICC and awareness of the Modern Data Stack are preferred. The ideal candidate will be based in Texas or the Central U.S.
The Regional Sales Director will build and scale a sales team by recruiting, coaching, and supporting Account Executives, fostering a culture of trust and collaboration. They will drive revenue growth by executing the go-to-market strategy, manage pipeline health by partnering with Marketing and Revenue Operations, and champion sales excellence by embedding best practices and ensuring accurate forecasting. Additionally, they will build relationships with executive buyers, align Atlan's value proposition with customer priorities, and collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Partnerships, and Customer Success to ensure a seamless customer experience.
