Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance or equivalent business/finance management work experience preferred
  • Minimum three years experience working with multiple sales, operations and finance functions within a larger matrixed organization
  • Preferred: At least five years’ experience in industrial bulk and packaged gases or related industry experience
  • Preferred: Experience with SAP or similar software; intermediate Google Platform skills
  • Preferred: Experience in project planning and management including scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, and communications
  • Occasional day and overnight travel to Airgas locations and customer sites; exposure to different inside and outside work environments

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with regional sales and operations teams to coordinate new bulk customer evaluation, business case development, contract administration, vessel installation/removal projects, and pricing administration
  • Make financial analysis recommendations after reviewing, evaluating, and auditing customer pricing to ensure capital expenditures deliver anticipated returns
  • Coordinate with the Business Service Center (BSC) to ensure accuracy of customer master data, credit line assignments, collections, and dispute resolutions
  • Provide support to other business lines (e.g., Healthcare, Packaged Gas) with contract administration duties as required
  • Administer all customer contracts and associated information packages, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Assist VP of Bulk and Bulk Sales Team with new deal packages, including proposals, site surveys, CAR’s, engineering approvals, and Product Supply Agreements
  • Coordinate new installations and removals with Engineering/Cryo Techs, distribution, and field service organizations, ensuring alignment of costs with capital commitments and timely customer invoicing
  • Process contract amendments (upgrades, extensions) and coordinate with field service
  • Manage and track Bulk agreement end-dates, advising Account Managers and leaders on renewal strategies
  • Ensure purchase order requests for customer installations, repairs, and plant maintenance are completed within established deadlines
  • Perform any reasonable work request that falls within qualifications but not specifically described
