Excellent verbal, written, and documentation communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and learn new tools and processes quickly with minimal assistance. Familiarity with creating spreadsheets, presentations, and project documentation, along with strong observational and analytical skills for data organization, analysis, reporting, and risk management, is necessary. The ability to collaborate with stakeholders and communicate project updates to executives is also required. Preferred qualifications include various certifications, change management knowledge, and familiarity with project management methodologies.
The Project & Program Management I role involves coordinating and executing projects from initiation to delivery, with a focus on data center networking coordination. Responsibilities include managing cross-functional and technical projects, partnering with functional teams throughout the project lifecycle, and managing/tracking program milestones, timelines, and deliverables. The individual will use metrics and KPIs to measure project performance, provide status updates, and assist with internal process improvements. Key duties also include identifying and mitigating project risks, serving as a point of contact for vendors and stakeholders, coordinating meetings, and evaluating post-project results to recommend improvements. The role requires resolving problems or escalating them in a timely manner and tracking a high volume of projects and blockers.
