Requirements

Candidates must hold an active, independent clinical license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist) with no restrictions. A minimum of 2 years of experience managing a behavioral telehealth call center or triage line serving high-acuity populations is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in crisis response and risk management. Proven ability to model empathy, provide supportive supervision, collaborate cross-functionally, exercise independent clinical judgment in high-pressure settings, and a data-driven mindset are essential. Technical proficiency with platforms like Zoom Contact Center, Healthie, Oz, Slack, and Google Workspace is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Program Manager will lead the daily operations of the ConnectNow service, overseeing a team of behavioral health providers, managing performance, and ensuring clinical quality. Responsibilities include providing direct care to students, conducting risk assessments, de-escalating crises, and coordinating interventions, which may involve collaboration with campus staff, EMS, or law enforcement. The role involves proactively identifying and resolving service issues, maintaining and updating clinical protocols, monitoring service quality, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to enhance the technology platform. Additionally, the manager will ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, manage the provider schedule for adequate coverage, and provide support to after-hours teams.
