You are a resourceful, organized, and energetic professional that has experience working within Professional Services (PS) organisations. You will have worked closely with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to successfully complete project deliverables and align project resources with staffing requests. What You’ll Do

The Senior Project Manager (PM) performs two functions within PS. As a PM, you will oversee the successful delivery of SailPoint solutions and ensure delivery teams are staffed and forecasted appropriately. By leveraging existing experience, the PM will gain a deep understanding of our SaaS and/or Software delivery and staffing models.

The Path to Success

First 2 Months

  • Assist with Resource Management (RM) duties.
  • Work with the Resource Management Office (RMO) to manage project resourcing requests and staff those projects with the right people in the right place at the right time.
  • Begin leading customer engagements by coordinating project deliverables, including status reporting, forecasting, managing budgets, and coordinating project team activities.

After 6 Months

  • Gain a strong understanding of our delivery methodology.
  • Take on major PM duties for small-medium projects, including project kickoff, budget adherence, timelines, milestones, and risk management.
  • Assume responsibility for RM duties in a geographical region where you will be responsible for most RM-related tasks.

Within 1st Year

  • Manage end-to-end project management duties, resulting in the successful delivery of multiple projects of varying sizes and complexity.
  • Manage all RM activities within a given geographical area and assist other RMs as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end project management for Phase 1 (and other PS) client engagements.
  • Prepare for and lead weekly staffing meetings, ensuring all notes, action and follow-up items are captured, distributed, and completed.
  • Lead Weekly Resource Availability meetings with project and engagement managers to ensure that resource allocation, availability and forecast are accurate and up to date, and that updates are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Manage client stakeholders & customer expectations, ensuring client concerns, risks and requirements are anticipated, identified, managed, and addressed accordingly.
  • Facilitate the fulfillment of staffing requests and prioritize resource requests, working with RMO, Leadership and other team members to ensure the right person is in the right place at the right time.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation (scope, status, schedule, budget, forecast risks, issues) in appropriate repositories.
  • Assist Engagement managers with Change Order content, process.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders.
