Candidates should possess 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, Delivery Manager, Scrum Master, or Product Manager in a complex software development environment with multiple stakeholders. Experience with ticketing systems, specifically Jira and Confluence, is desirable, along with the ability to diligently track and document issues. Demonstrated experience leading projects with significant complexity, including managing milestones, dependencies, and integrations with risk, uncertainty, or scale is required. Experience working with product, design, and engineering teams as a cohesive unit and maintaining open lines of communication is also necessary. Familiarity with agile frameworks like scrum, kanban, or SAFe and agile development practices such as continuous integration and continuous delivery is required.
The Project Manager will manage the support of a mid-large scale product, working closely with engineers, designers, and government partners to triage issues and distill them into clear, actionable tickets for the team. They will be available to tackle priority one issues as they arise, proactively build relationships with stakeholders and other contractors, understand the team’s objectives and capabilities, coordinate multiple contractor teams, accurately report risks and successes, manage the team’s velocity, and continually improve processes for organizing work. Additionally, the Project Manager will demonstrate a passion for learning, embrace change, ask insightful questions, and communicate transparently to build consensus internally and externally.
