Product Marketing Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time Location Type: On-Site Salary: Not Specified

About Us

We are on a mission to redefine how modern distributed systems are tested and released. Our platform is trusted by engineering teams who demand rock-solid reliability, scalable performance, and deep technical visibility. We exist because developers need a better solution than the current offerings, especially for those who have experienced the pain of production outages, difficult on-call rotations, or release delays due to critical bugs. If you are passionate about developer-first products, system resilience, and correctness, we encourage you to connect with us.

About the Role

We are seeking a sharp, early-career Product Marketing Manager who combines technical expertise with innovative go-to-market strategies. You will serve as the liaison between product, sales, and the engineering community, articulating our value proposition, shaping positioning, and driving adoption of our developer-focused solutions. This role is ideal for individuals who have begun their careers in backend development or engineering and have transitioned into product marketing, preferably within a company serving software engineers, SREs, or QA teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Positioning & Messaging: Craft clear, compelling, and technically grounded messaging that resonates with developers, SREs, and budget-holding leadership teams.
  • Product Launches: Drive go-to-market plans for new features and products, encompassing internal enablement and external communications.
  • Sales & Field Enablement: Develop technical one-pagers, pitch decks, battle cards, and demo narratives for Go-To-Market (GTM) teams.
  • Customer Insights: Conduct customer interviews, analyze usage data, and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to understand user and leadership priorities.
  • Content Creation: Partner on blogs, videos, and case studies to bring technical stories to life, demonstrating how we solve engineers' toughest problems.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Monitor market trends and competitors, identifying significant insights amidst noise.
  • Community & Events: Support developer events, webinars, and campaigns to build trust and awareness within technical audiences.

What We’re Looking For

While fitting every criterion is not mandatory, strong alignment indicates a highly qualified candidate.

  • Experience: 3–6 years of total experience, including 3+ years at the intersection of sales and engineering (e.g., as a Product Marketer or Product Manager).
  • Industry Focus: Ideally, experience at a company selling to developers (e.g., DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering tools).
  • Technical Background:
    • Hands-on experience deploying production code (software development, QA, SRE, or DevOps).
    • OR a strong systems background from computer science/engineering coursework.
  • Communication Skills: Proven ability to write and speak credibly and clearly to technical audiences.
  • Value Articulation: Ability to articulate value propositions that appeal to both end-users and management, regardless of their coding background.
  • Sales Process Exposure: Familiarity with complex B2B sales processes involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Passion: Enthusiasm for developer advocacy, technical storytelling, or ecosystem engagement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working effectively with product, engineering, and sales teams.
  • Adaptability: Comfort navigating ambiguity and iterating rapidly in a fast-paced startup or growth-stage environment.

Why Join Us?

  • Impact: Shape the messaging and narrative of a high-impact product used by some of the industry's most intelligent engineers.
  • Visibility: Join a dedicated team where your contributions are recognized, utilized, and celebrated.
  • Growth: Learn from experienced founders and marketing leaders while developing your career path.
  • Innovation: Bring a genuinely revolutionary software product to users.
  • Compensation: Receive competitive compensation, equity, and benefits.

About Antithesis

Antithesis focuses on improving software quality assurance (QA) through autonomous testing. The platform they have developed identifies bugs in software within a controlled environment, ensuring that these bugs can be reproduced. This method boosts the confidence and productivity of development teams by providing a dependable way to detect and fix software issues. Antithesis primarily targets software development teams and companies that need high software reliability and fault tolerance. Unlike many competitors, their service is centered around an autonomous testing platform that specializes in finding fault tolerance bugs, which are failures that happen under specific conditions like network or hardware issues. By automating the bug detection process, Antithesis aims to minimize the time and resources spent on manual testing, ultimately enhancing productivity and software reliability.
