Position Overview

FourKites is seeking a dynamic Product Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team. This role is crucial for articulating the value of the FourKites platform and ensuring our solutions are effectively positioned to the right audiences. You will be instrumental in shaping the messaging, strategy, and content that engages potential buyers and drives revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Buyer Expertise: Serve as an expert on buyers and influencers, understanding their needs and buying journey, including key pain points addressed by use case and industry vertical.
  • Messaging & Positioning: Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to develop and execute differentiated messaging and positioning for the FourKites platform.
  • Product Education: Work with the Product team to educate internal and external stakeholders on platform features and benefits.
  • Launch Coordination: Support new product and feature launches by coordinating with various marketing stakeholders across cross-functional teams.
  • Content Creation: Develop compelling solution content, including sales enablement materials, case studies, product videos, website copy, blog posts, and sales/executive presentation decks.
  • Content Activation: Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product, Business Development, and executive teams to activate content through multi-channel campaigns.
  • Sales Support: Assist the Sales team by providing deeper product insights during prospect calls when appropriate.
  • Thought Leadership: Act as a thought leader and evangelist for the platform through internal training, external speaking engagements, analyst calls, and written content.

Requirements

  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the Supply Chain industry is preferred, with a strong understanding of buyer needs.
  • Value Translation: Ability to translate FourKites' unique value proposition across different industry segments.
  • Market Adaptability: Capacity to thrive in a dynamic market and understand a rapidly evolving competitive landscape.
  • Customer Focus: Expertise in understanding customer-centric and market-based requirements and their relevance to FourKites' solutions.
  • Content Skills: Proven ability to distill complex concepts into compelling and easily consumable content for target buyers.
  • Education: BA/BS degree in Business or Marketing.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in product marketing and/or product management within enterprise software. Supply chain experience is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with significant experience in writing and presenting ideas.
  • Collaboration: Preference for working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, requiring cross-functional and inter-departmental work.
  • Project Management: Ability to drive projects, make decisions within your domain, and adapt to changing business needs.
