About Dandy

Dandy is transforming the antiquated $200B dental lab market through supply chain excellence and groundbreaking innovation. We are redefining how high-volume, completely-custom restorative products are designed and manufactured, setting a new standard in the industry with superior quality and unmatched turnaround times. Our success is built on a foundation of cutting-edge supply chain systems that seamlessly connect every part of the business—from checkout to design to production. Our manufacturing and design systems empower our teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for our dentists, at scale.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Principal Product Manager to lead the development of our production planning, scheduling, orchestration, and execution systems. In this role, you will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of mission-critical systems that will help us scale our supply chain efficiently and meet customer demand. You will collaborate closely with our design, manufacturing, and sales & operations planning (S&OP) teams to deliver solutions that streamline workflows, improve visibility, improve On Time Delivery (OTD) and enhance production performance. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our supply chain strategy. If you have a passion for manufacturing systems and a strong background in operational technology and factory-floor optimization and automation, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Define the vision and strategy for our MES, production planning, and scheduling systems to support efficient design and manufacturing operations at scale.
  • Champion operational users by developing deep empathy for their workflows and pain points and ensuring the solutions meet their needs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, S&OP, and sales teams, to ensure seamless integration between planning and production execution.
  • Drive end-to-end product development, from ideation and requirements gathering to launch and subsequent iterations.
  • Develop deep expertise in manufacturing workflows, production orchestration, and planning processes, ensuring solutions reflect best practices and emerging trends in the industry.

About Dandy

Dandy provides digital dentistry solutions to dental practices across the United States, enabling them to transition from traditional methods to modern digital techniques. Their services include digital scanning, design, and manufacturing of dental prosthetics such as dentures and implants. Dandy's proprietary Chairside software simplifies the scanning process, allowing dental professionals to perform complex procedures with greater accuracy and efficiency. Unlike competitors, Dandy offers their Chairside software for free, making it easier for practices to scan patients and submit lab cases. The company generates revenue through the manufacturing and sale of dental products based on these digital scans, along with providing clinical support and live scan feedback. Dandy's goal is to enhance patient experiences and improve operational efficiency for dental practices by facilitating the adoption of digital dentistry.
