Requirements

Candidates must have 10+ years of experience in Solution Engineering, preferably in SaaS and enterprise software. A strong understanding of ITSM/ESM domains and familiarity with platforms like ServiceNow, Halo, or Jira is required. Expertise in APIs, webhooks, integrations, and infrastructure components is essential, along with a playbook for using AI to present, operationalize projects, and articulate value. The role also requires a deep understanding of LLMs and foundational AI principles, as well as strong communication and influencing skills, particularly with C-level stakeholders. Experience operating independently in complex enterprise scenarios and coaching/mentoring peers is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Principal Solutions Engineer will partner with enterprise customers to understand strategic business challenges and recommend solutions using the Freshworks platform. Responsibilities include leading discovery workshops, shaping customer requirements, influencing deal strategy, and delivering compelling product demonstrations. The role involves collaborating with AEs, product teams, and solution architects to design scalable solutions, contributing to competitive strategies, and mentoring junior team members. Additionally, the engineer will translate complex customer needs into clear solution architectures, including integrations and security, and champion technical excellence through presentations and customer engagements.
