Partner Innovation Manager

Position Overview

Workday is seeking a Partner Innovation Manager to join the Partner Innovation organization within the Global Partner Organization (GPO). This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of high-impact partners in the "Built on Workday" Partner Program, focusing on developing Marketplace Apps for the Workday Marketplace. The Workday Marketplace is a platform designed for customers to discover and acquire Workday and third-party solutions, with the vision of expanding the reach and value of the Workday platform by fostering a thriving Workday Economy with its partners. This is a growing program with over 80 partners and plans for rapid expansion.

About the Team

The Partner Innovation organization is part of GPO and is dedicated to developing the partner ecosystem and creating new solutions to enhance Workday's product offerings. GPO is actively transforming to embrace an open and modern ecosystem and implement a unified global partner strategy. The Partner Innovation team defines and grows the partner ecosystem for innovation and integration with Workday Products and Technology. The partner management team handles top-tier software partnerships from conceptualization and integration to go-to-market strategies, while the partner solution management team prioritizes and develops solution ideas, leading the "Built on Workday" partner program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enrolling and onboarding partners into the program.
  • Serving as the partner's primary point of contact for navigating the program.
  • Managing partner listings for new and existing partners and their offerings on the Marketplace.
  • Implementing partner representation on the Marketplace, including managing ratings, reviews, and case studies.
  • Collaborating with partners to coordinate Go-To-Market (GTM) activities.
  • Identifying and establishing new partnerships.
  • Managing the sales pipeline for partners.
  • Collaborating with the team on broader initiatives.

Requirements

  • Familiarity working across various industries.
  • Business process competence.
  • Understanding of HCM and Finance.
  • Experience in solution and product management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate successfully with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve partnership objectives.
