  • Experience architecting monitoring, alerting, and observability for data infrastructure
  • Skills in integrating with third-party tools (CRM, ERP, analytics) and internal services
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Experience establishing metrics, dashboards, KPIs for data-driven decisions
  • Technical mentorship for senior engineers, analytics engineers, data scientists
  • Leadership in architectural reviews, code reviews, technical decisions, hiring, interviews
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Security, Compliance, Platform Engineering, Finance, Legal

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive long-term technical strategy for Docker's data platform
  • Architect scalable, reliable data infrastructure for growing customer base and container ecosystem
  • Lead cross-functional technical discussions on data architecture decisions
  • Establish technical standards and best practices for data engineering, analytics engineering, data science teams
  • Design and implement data governance frameworks ensuring quality, security, compliance
  • Own design of mission-critical data pipelines for customer usage, billing, revenue operations
  • Build robust ETL/ELT frameworks processing container telemetry, user analytics, business metrics at scale
  • Architect Customer 360 data models unifying user behavior, account info, product usage
  • Design monitoring, alerting, observability systems for data infrastructure
  • Lead integrations with third-party tools and internal Docker services
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Drive data-driven decision making with metrics, dashboards, KPIs
  • Lead initiatives unlocking new revenue streams via data capabilities
  • Establish processes reducing time-to-insights for business questions
  • Create data architecture enabling expansion into new markets/segments
