A strong understanding of various data technologies, including RDBMS and non-RDBMS platforms, and experience implementing data governance in medium-to-large organizations are also necessary.
The Principal Data Architect will serve as a technical leader and advisor in the data technology field, guiding the growth of the company and individual engineers. They will provide technical expertise to develop data flow strategies and define storage needs for microservices, ensuring scalability and reliability. Responsibilities include managing cross-application projects for datastores, researching emerging data capabilities for strategic planning, and consulting on database design and query optimization.
