Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with at least 8 years of relevant experience in data platform architecture. Experience with containerization technologies, building and managing data platforms with integrated AI/ML capabilities, and strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) are essential. Familiarity with other cloud platforms, expertise in infrastructure as code and CI/CD practices, and the ability to troubleshoot across technical domains are required. Strong skills in handling streaming data applications, effective communication of technical concepts to diverse audiences, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and system architecture improvement are also necessary. Telecom experience within the Enterprise and Wholesale domain is a plus.
The IT Data Platform Architect will design and implement a state-of-the-art data platform, integrating advanced AI/ML capabilities. Responsibilities include developing high-performance data architecture for large-scale data processing and AI/ML analytics, leading the implementation of infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Ansible, and designing CI/CD integrations using GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins for deployment on GCP. The role involves creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation, staying updated with technological advancements, and advocating for necessary system changes. Architects will proactively identify infrastructure architecture improvement areas, develop enhancement plans, work with streaming data applications, and build reusable code, components, and services with a focus on versioning, reconciliation, and exception handling.
