Candidates should possess a BA/BS in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a solutions architect, data architect, database administrator, or data engineer is required, along with 3 years of technical consulting experience. Experience in a lead role for analytics projects in large enterprises is necessary, as well as familiarity with the complete data analytics stack and workflow. Candidates should have hands-on experience in SQL, Python, Java, and/or Spark, and extensive knowledge of large-scale database technology. Proficiency in implementing data security measures specifically within the Snowflake platform is also essential.
The Solutions Architect will engage directly with customers to oversee and advise on the implementation of the Snowflake platform. They will demonstrate technical leadership through developed code and solution architectures, acting as a trusted advisor to customer executive leadership. Responsibilities include extracting business requirements and translating them into well-architected recommendations, developing future state roadmaps, and collaborating with Snowflake GTM and product teams to ensure alignment with customer goals.
