Requirements

  • 9+ years of plumbing construction experience
  • Strong understanding of construction, plumbing, and project management
  • Good computer software skills (specifically Bluebeam Software, Excel, and QuickPen preferred)
  • State Plumbing License (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Review project scope upon award and transition to Operations
  • Create a Submittal book of materials and fixtures
  • Set up job accounts with suppliers
  • Coordinate preliminary notices, insurance certificates, and Job Book completion
  • Review contracts and discuss concerns with Accounting and COO
  • Submit RFIs to the General Contractor
  • Write up and submit change orders for extra work
  • Perform detailed material take-offs and manage a change order log
  • Generate Purchase Orders & Buy-Outs for materials
  • Coordinate with the Superintendent on scheduling material deliveries
  • Complete the schedule of values during the billing cycle
  • Coordinate close-out documentation submission
  • Provide project reporting and analysis on profitability and labor efficiency
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training new employees
