Candidates should possess an Associate's degree or a Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field, or have 2-4 years of equivalent experience in a lab or datacenter environment. They must demonstrate the ability to perform well at work with minimal manager supervision, be capable of deploying and cabling servers and test equipment, and possess a basic understanding of UNIX/Windows operating systems, networking, and storage. Furthermore, candidates should be comfortable multitasking and iterating over repetitive tasks.
As a Platform Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and onboarding servers, desktops, and GPUs in datacenters, providing end-to-end servicing of systems including networking, storage, and desktop servers, and managing the lifecycle of hardware through inventory and asset management. You will maintain the reliability and availability of all hardware, actively monitor and supervise a sophisticated DevOps pipeline, perform bug fixes, and implement improvements to ensure a high level of availability and reliability within a complex platform environment, handling over 100,000 automated tests daily and addressing issues proactively to prevent them from impacting end-user devices.
