Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related analytical discipline, and demonstrate at least 3 years of experience in demand forecasting, statistical modeling, or a related analytical role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

The Planner, Demand Sensing will leverage advanced analytics and machine learning algorithms to generate short-term and mid-term forecasts, applying forecasting techniques to improve demand predictions’ precision and responsiveness. They will capture current demand signals and trends using market intelligence data, weather events, and other factors, and lead weekly S&OE meetings to review forecast performance and align on demand scenarios. The role involves reviewing wholesaler forecasts, identifying potential issues, and coordinating corrective actions, as well as communicating insights to sales, marketing, and supply chain groups. Additionally, the planner will mark and categorize outlier events, develop ‘what if’ scenarios, and provide actionable insights at the Distributor-Item Level to the Demand Planning team.
