Requirements

Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years hospital pharmacy sales experience or 6+ years of relevant experience (Generic Pharma sales highly desired)
Clinical/RN background a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as negotiation and presentation skills
Ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies
Ability to understand and adapt to customer changing needs
Strong business acumen and knowledge of sales processes
Candidate must live within the territory (Buffalo, NY, Rochester, NY, Syracuse, NY)
Must have a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

Achieving or exceeding sales quotas through the direct promotion and sale of the pharmacy portfolio (generic injectables, ready-to-use injectable premixes, and oncology products)
Calling on hospital customers with a primary focus on the pharmacy department through effective sales presentations, providing technical product information, managing customer contracts and prices, and supporting new product launches
Monitoring sales against forecasts, implementing sales strategies to attain assigned sales volume, and participating in the determination of market potential for the territory
Providing customer feedback to sales and marketing personnel for the potential development of marketing strategy, product needs, and pricing
Working closely with customer service and operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Promoting the Baxter Culture through positive ongoing relationships and activities
