Scythe Robotics

Autonomous mowers for commercial landscaping

About Scythe Robotics

Scythe Robotics operates in the commercial landscaping market, providing an autonomous solution for lawn care with its main product, the M.52 mower. This machine can mow lawns on its own, allowing human workers to focus on other maintenance tasks. The M.52 is battery-powered, which means it runs quietly and produces no gas emissions, making it an environmentally friendly option. Scythe Robotics targets commercial clients like property management companies and municipalities, and it uses a subscription model where clients only pay for the mower when it is in use. This aligns the company's success with the efficiency of its clients. Unlike competitors, Scythe Robotics emphasizes sustainability and a customer-focused approach, which has attracted significant venture capital support. The goal of Scythe Robotics is to enhance the efficiency of lawn care while promoting green technology in the landscaping industry.
