Candidates must have at least 5-7 years of payroll experience, with a strong understanding of Mexican payroll, taxes (IMSS, ISN, ISR), and end-to-end processing and calculations. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, knowledge of tax software (authorities' portals, SUA, IDSE), and experience with global companies and annual processes/reports are required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in 90% English are mandatory, as interviews will be conducted solely in English. Experience managing payroll for over 500 employees and a head account background are also necessary.
The Payroll Expert will ensure accurate processing and recording of payroll for multiple clients and states, including stock options, expatriates, and incentives. Responsibilities include preparing and processing journal entries, verifying data, and leading day-to-day activities as an expert for local market clients. The role involves identifying and implementing improvements, managing payroll calendars, participating in special projects, and adhering to escalation procedures. Additionally, the expert will maintain internal reporting requirements, update metrics, and publish reports as scheduled or on an ad-hoc basis.
