Must reside and be licensed within New Mexico as an LPCC, LMFT, or LCSW. Must hold a current NM license as an LPCC, LMFT, LPAT, LADAC, LCSW, licensed psychologist, or licensed psychiatrist, and have completed 3 CEU hours in counseling/therapy supervision and 6 CEU hours in ethics in supervision. Must apply for and obtain supervisor designation from the board or hold a current supervision credential through an applicable national professional association. For LCSW supervisors, must be a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) and have completed a 3-hour administrative course on supervision. Must have active credentialing with the required Incident-to panels within the state where supervision will be provided. Individuals should enjoy being part of a team, possess strong character with integrity, honesty, adaptability, and a commitment to quality of care, and be able to be appropriately assertive in coaching.
Provide clinical supervision to a minimum of six resident clinicians, including weekly group supervision and individual supervision for every 15 clinical hours. Maintain a clinical caseload of 15-25 sessions per week. Provide documentation oversight and coaching on professional and clinical development. Complete weekly documentation as evidence of supervision sessions and coaching documentation regarding any performance concerns. Collaborate with the Regional Clinical Director regarding performance issues and perform as outlined in the Clinical Supervisor Expectations document.
