Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or a CPP certification, along with 5-7 years of payroll experience. Required experience includes full-cycle payroll processing in corporate and startup environments, managing multi-country payrolls across North America, EMEA, and APAC, and at least 5 years of hands-on Workday Payroll experience. Strong knowledge of U.S. and international payroll tax compliance, reporting, payroll accounting, tax reconciliations, and funding processes is essential. Advanced Excel and data analysis skills are also required. Experience with OneSource Virtual (OSV) or comparable tax vendors is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

The Senior Payroll Specialist will direct, process, and review international payrolls in partnership with vendors and stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and statutory compliance. This role includes serving as backup for U.S. payroll processing in Workday, ensuring adherence to local statutory regulations, and collaborating with OSV on U.S. tax filings and notice resolution. Responsibilities also involve reviewing and analyzing payroll tax liabilities, coordinating with international payroll vendors, managing quarter-end and year-end payroll close processes, conducting system testing, maintaining process documentation, and providing support during audits.
