Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of payroll in the assigned region and other trained countries.
  • Prepare and reconcile internal payroll reports, ensuring compliance with local tax authorities.
  • Schedule payroll expense collections and reconcile them against expenses.
  • Assess and improve rapid growth processes and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Stay informed of relevant local regulatory and policy changes, communicating key changes across teams.
  • Work cross-functionally to provide expertise on local payroll and HR matters in the assigned region.
  • Answer complex payroll and HR-related questions from employees and clients in the assigned region.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • 4+ years of payroll and HR experience, with experience in the relevant country.
  • Strong working knowledge of local regulations and policies related to payroll and HR.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines accurately and timely.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and stakeholder alignment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to explain complex issues at an understandable level.
  • Advanced knowledge of local payroll software solutions.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Strong proficiency in English.
  • Experience managing technology and external payroll providers is an advantage.
  • Experience with the implementation of new payrolls on an industry-recognized payroll solution is preferred.
  • Experience in multiple country jurisdictions is an advantage.
  • Experience with multiple payroll technologies is an advantage.
