Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses 8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including international payroll exposure (EMEA/APAC preferred), experience with equity-based payroll, including taxation of exercises and vesting, private company payroll experience, strong working knowledge of ADP systems (Workforce Now or equivalent), experience in a high-growth startup environment, and demonstrated collaboration with People Operations and Finance teams. They should also have experience supporting audits (payroll and financial) and understanding of GAAP-related payroll considerations, along with exceptional organizational and communication skills and an acute attention to detail.

Responsibilities

As the Senior Manager, Global Payroll, the individual will oversee and manage global payroll operations, including coordination with third-party vendors across EMEA and APAC regions, manage bi-weekly and monthly payroll processes, partner closely with People Operations, Accounting, and Legal teams on cross-functional initiatives and compliance, oversee and continuously improve expense reimbursement processes, support equity-based payroll administration, maintain and optimize payroll systems and integrations, ensure compliance with federal, state, and international payroll regulations, lead preparation and execution of payroll, benefit plan, and workers compensation audits, and drive improvements in payroll workflows, documentation, and internal controls.
