Requirements

Candidates should possess 3-4 years of accounting and payroll-related experience, a strong interest in both HR and Finance functions, proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, and experience with accounting software, with NetSuite being preferred. Familiarity with payroll processing, particularly with Bamboo HR or Deel, is a plus, along with experience working in a high-growth startup environment.

Responsibilities

The Staff Accountant will manage end-to-end global payroll processing in collaboration with HR, PEOs, and payroll providers, ensuring deadlines are consistently met with precision and accuracy. They will also support 401(k) plan administration, manage payroll systems, proactively identifying areas for improvement, support and manage global expense reimbursement processes, take ownership of UK entity accounts payable, including invoice processing, payments, and vendor relations, perform daily bank reconciliations, conduct monthly bank reconciliations, track and manage nexus requirements for payroll and sales tax, assist in audits and tax-related matters tied to payroll, expenses, and compliance, and support UK entity financial processes and international compliance in partnership with external advisors.
